Best Professional Development award 2018

We were thrilled that our MSc was voted winner of the Best Professional Development award in the 2018 Tech Excellence Awards.

The award recognises organisations who have provided the framework and supports that allow people to not only reach their personal goals but set new standards for professional development.

About the MSc

This programme itself is a great solution to a growing demand from companies for retaining highly skilled employees and developing a pipeline of highly skilled Software Architects. The MSc is now a major contributor to keeping Irish IT Architects at the forefront of global computing.

In a lot of cases current software architects have grown into their role without any formal standards, certification or training in the practice of software architecture. This new MSc in Software Solutions Architecture changes this and now people can get the training required to excel in their professional lives.

The new Master’s programme is the first of its kind in Ireland, possibly even Europe, and it has already helped some extremely talented, mostly self-taught IT Architects to develop and expand their skill sets while obviously improving their employability for the future.
