Abstract background

techBREK network & learn event

As businesses navigate complexity, rapid digital transformation, AI, and constant change, the business technology architect’s role is shifting from system designer to strategic enabler. This techBREK event from Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet and the Iasa Ireland Chapter will bring together senior technology leaders, Chief Architects, and practicing business technology architects to explore the evolving impact of architecture in shaping modern enterprises.

We will also explore the development of the architecture profession and community in Ireland, with updates on global and local initiatives including the Chief Architect Forum and the Level Up programme. Whilst Iasa has had a presence in Ireland for several years, this event signals a renewed commitment to building a vibrant Iasa Cluster that will support the growth, recognition, and professional development of IT architects nationwide.

Keynotes from international experts Whynde Kuehn and Dennis Mulder will share insights on business architecture and strategy-to-execution, highlighting how architects can lead in organisational design, influence enterprise direction, and create lasting business value.

The event will also provide space for discussion, networking, and community-building, with the goal of strengthening Ireland’s architecture ecosystem and expanding opportunities for IT architects, helping to position them at the center of the decisions shaping tomorrow’s organisations.

This Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet event is cofunded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union.
