Free Tech Training: IBM SkillsBuild Overview
IBM SkillsBuild provides those looking to upskill or cross-skill with 1800+ free online, self-paced courses in technology and professional skills, as well as project-based learning, credentials* and coaching. Technical learning areas include artificial intelligence, customer service, cybersecurity, data analytics, information technology, IT project management and web development.
With IBM SkillsBuild you’ll also gain critical workplace skills, such as leadership skills, communication skills, problem solving skills, and writing skills, that are aligned to in-demand jobs. Plus, you can earn digital credentials to show employers what you’ve achieved! All this can take place within three to six months of enrolment, readying people for in-demand IT and non-IT roles across many industries.
Learners accessing SkillsBuild through Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet will be granted access to MyInnerGenius, an assessment tool that looks at what you can do, not just what you have done. It is designed to help you find careers in tech that fit your natural skills, abilities and personality. Regardless of your education or background, these assessments will help identify a role where you have the best chance to be successful now and in the future.
