Out of work but considering a new career in tech with future in tech

Are you currently unemployed but ready to be part of the digital transformation sweeping the business world? Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet is extending a final invitation for the 2024 intake of our Future in Tech training programme. This free initiative opens doors to exciting new job opportunities in the tech industry.

Career Opportunities in Cybersecurity, Data Analytics and Software Development

In today’s business landscape, every company is becoming a digital enterprise. The Future in Tech training and mentoring programme, delivered by Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet and Cenit College, is designed to help people who are currently out of work and eager to join the digital and tech revolution, to develop the right skills to achieve that goal, even if they have no previous tech experience.

For the programme starting in November 2024, we have three specialised tech skills training pathways in the areas of cybersecurity, data analytics and software development, to help non-tech job seekers quickly and efficiently acquire new digital skills, leading to promising job opportunities.

Online Tech Training and Certification For Unemployed

Our programme is delivered entirely online, featuring virtual classrooms, projects, assignments, tutorials, and mentor support. Each pathway is linked to recognisable certifications that have industry recognition, paving the way for steady employment in the future. The fully funded training covers three crucial areas in tech: cybersecurity analyst, software developer, and data analyst.

Industry Support and Collaboration

This initiative is part of Skillnet Ireland Skills Connect, which focuses on the rapid reskilling of workers to enhance employability across sectors and support those who have lost their jobs in re-entering the workforce.

With backing from Skillnet Ireland, the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, and numerous technology companies, our certified Tech Skills Pathways are designed to help non-tech job seekers develop new digital skills and access job opportunities in the digital economy swiftly.
