About the speaker

Dr Hugh O’Donnell is an academic and practitioner in the Information Systems field at Technological University Dublin. His research interests are varied and include blockchain technologies, cryptography, data analytics, software engineering productivity and work-based learning. He has published and presented internationally at academic conferences and business symposia. Before joining TU Dublin, Hugh developed extensive commercial experience as a software engineer, project manager and engineering manager for multinational and domestic blue-chip companies and international SMEs. His international experience from this time saw him work in the USA, Czechia and Japan.
